Mack Dick Pavilion Wedding | Palo Duro Canyon | Ana + Brandon
Last November, I had the honor of photographing one of the most beautiful weddings I've personally witnessed. This lovely couple chose the Mack Dick Pavilion in the Palo Duro Canyons for their big day to combine their love of architecture and the outdoors. They kept their decor simple but elegant (and even made the wooden pieces of their tablescapes themselves!) and limited their guest list to close family and friends, which made the day even more special. The afternoon was filled with laughter and happy tears, and the canyons provided the perfect backdrop for the down-to-earth bride and groom.
The Mack Dick Pavilion has become one of my all-time favorite venues (so much so that it’s where I’m getting married as well). The unique architecture set in the middle of this Texas state park sets it apart from other venues in the area, and it provides a fun experience for guests who have never seen the canyons before.
Brandon + Ana traveled all the way from Houston for the wedding, so they decided to spend a little more time in the park the following day for photos of just the two of them. Don’t miss their adventure session!
